Charlie's Masks

STATUS REPORT: Charlie found traces of a ancient Tribe in the center of Amazon in South America where he landed his hot-air balloon...

When landing in the Amazon next to the river, Charlie was very well received by the local inhabitants that immediately organized a welcome party.

Later he found that this tribe has the tradition to organize parties for any reason... even without one!

For here the interesting part is that when at the party he saw that everybody used a mask, from the smallest baby to the oldest elder.

He was then explained the following:

Since distant times, far beyond the memory of times our tribe has the tradition of wearing these masks.

There are three different types of masks.

The first one is the common mask; everybody has one that is made by the tribe when they born… they create 13 colours throwing randomly main colours to 13 recipients. Each colour will paint a specific place in the mask.

At the same time if this is a couple first born, they create two new masks for the parents, that from now on will only use these masks. These masks also have 13 colours but are randomly created from Neon main colours so, these are more important masks as these people have child, they generate life and this has to be celebrated every day.

Finally, when someone dies, a mask is made representing the soul of who died. The only rule is that it needs to have something that was regularly used by the person in life.

These masks are used by descendants when celebrating Life, there's no specific day to celebrate Life… every time someone sees that a celebration should be made, only has to call others and the party begins. Every party in this Tribe, celebrates Life, everyday this Tribe celebrates Life, Charlie celebrated Life the day he arrived to this Tribe.

And maybe for this reason he decided to celebrate with a collection of masks that shows to the world the Joy, Gratitude and Happiness that these people have in Life.
